Biography[]

Henry John Churchill Liddon, born 20th April 1932 in Chelsea, London, England, UK and died 23rd September 1987 in Ivory Coast, was an English rally racing co-driver.

The Briton won 4 World championship events, three at Lombard RAC Rally and one at Rally of the 1000 Lakes with his Finnish driver, Timo Mäkinen.

After retiring as a co-driver he became a manager but died in a plane crash in the Ivory Coast in Africa during the Rallye Côte d'Ivoire 1987. On the second day of the 1987 Rallye Côte d'Ivoire, Toyota Team Europe's Cessna 340 crashed and exploded, killing the occupants, including Liddon and his assistant, Nigel Harris.
